About Me

 Hi, I’m Amy Curtis, and I am a painter and illustrator from New England. I use my work to encapsulate a narrative in a fun and evocative way. I strive to capture the feeling and essence of my given subject matters. I work in translucent acrylic layers, and I like to experiment with other media in between. My work has a gloomy, lower light feel to it, some even say creepy. Maybe they’re right? I like my work to make the viewer feel unsettled and left wanting to know more.
